Can you guess?

Half of the time, I don't even know what I'm making.

Any guesses?

Here's some additional examples- unfinished of course. These designs don't go together, but they're all the same thing. sortof. Hoping to get them to a more finished product tonight, as I'll be at a special weeknight edition of CCC! (Can't figure it out? Theres an extra hint in the tags!)

I'll be using my awesome groupon at one of the fabric stores in town after work today. I get to pick out $60 of fabric and notions, so you can expect some shopping pictures up this week as well. I'm hoping to not get too distracted though, and I'm actually pretty excited about this current idea!

Here's hoping it all comes together.

Valentine's Day Cuteness

Oh my goodness what a week! Last week was busy busy busy right up until the moment my valentine and I sprinted away to the beach for Charleston's Blues Bash and some much needed relaxation. Much fun was had, even more food was eaten and Sunday night when we got home, in addition to some other handmade goodies, I presented him with this:

AWWW!
Video game themed cross stitches are about as nerdy as they come, and this tetris one is no exception. I honestly can't remember where this idea came from, I think it may have been another pattern from Geek Crafts but I've seen it quite literally all over the internet! I googled and came up with several image results and just left it up on my screen while I went to work.

I'm also a big fan of it's adorable little frame from Target. It was around $5 when I bought it, but it'll likely be even cheaper tomorrow!

Tonight though its back to working my own patterns and finally getting started on a 30 Rock themed sampler that I've already charted and can't wait to finish. Fingers crossed for minimal distractions!

Crafts, Cupcakes and Cosmos

I am incredibly fortunate to have a group of girlfriends who love to craft as much as I do, some of them maybe even a little more. One dear friend hosts a soon to be regular craft night that goes by the name Crafts, Cupcakes and Cosmos, and features just that. It's wonderful.

Because I'm such a fan I've started a pattern, I'm sure I don't have to tell you what of. I'll be working on this well into the weekend I'm sure.

I'm looking forward to finding all of the colors for this, I think it's going to end up being a pretty cute way to commemorate our craft nights.
